As part of the organizing committee for the 2018 "Día C" I was responsible for creating and overseeing the visual identity. Each year, the event adopts a different theme, in '18 it was "Mexico." Aimed to capture the country's past, present, and future identity.
Drawing inspiration from alebrijes (brightly colored Mexican folk art sculptures) & regional popular culture; the event's visual identity included a logo, T-shirts, badges, banners, wristbands, tickets, and digital materials. The theme allowed for a vibrant color palette with curved lines that intertwined with the urban and industrial elements of the country's popular culture.
